Obituary of Paul Harper

Nashville – Paul W. Harper, age 79, passed away on March 24, 2018.  Born on July 7th, 1938, he was the youngest & last surviving child of the late Willie Van and Nellie Lou Harper of Hartsville, TN.  

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Dylan W Harper; three sisters Anna L. Sullivan, Stella B. Wright & Beatrice B Wright; three brothers Johnnie Harper, Arthur Harper and Nelson Harper

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Senator Thelma M. Harper, Nashville TN, devoted daughter, Linda and son-in-law Bobby of Atlanta, GA, goddaughters Donna Wallace & Regina Kinnard and Godson, King Dunlap V and close friend Charlene Stuart.

Brothers and Sister-in-laws:  Lula and Helen Harper, Hartsfield TN, Neely Ann Harper, Nashville, TN, Dennis (Gwendolyn) Claybrooks, Devoted Brother-in-Law John G. Claybrooks, Devoted Nephew H. Kenneth (Elizabeth) Harper and Family, Devoted Nieces May Kinnard, Michigan and Frankie More, Gallatin, Devoted Friend King (Robin) Dunlap IV and Family and a host of Devoted Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and close family friends.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE DETAILS​

Visitation with family and friends will be held at Lewis & Wright Funeral Home from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2018. Funeral will be held at Schrader Lane Church of Christ, 1234 Schrader Lane, Nashville TN on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  Visitation from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm followed by funeral at 12:00 noon.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
