Vicki and I have known each other about 15 years. We worked together on the TN NASW Board and tackled multi/level Licensure. We were also together on the TN Board of Social Work Licensure 2008-2018. We took many conference trips together and saw some wonderful places. A couple of years ago, Vicki introduced Las Vegas to me on an ASWB conference trip. We got ourselves lost on the tram system and laughed about that for months. As I have been struggling with a major health problem in the last year and had to resign from the board at the same time Vicki rolled off, I did not realize that Vicki was struggling with cancer, as I don’t live in Nashville, but live in Knoxville. She was a fine woman, and I loved to hear her stories of growing up and her career. We had a great friendship in that time of our lives. I am praying for you her family as you go through this devastating loss. I know she is rejoicing with the Lord in Heaven. Go bless you all.

I will always remember and appreciate the tenacious regulator and savvy social worker in Ms. Vickie Williams. We shared great moments in session and attending conferences where she would show me the ropes. Thank you for sharing her with us!

As Director of the Social Work Board in Tennessee I had the pleasure of working with Vicki for over five years. She was a well respected and well liked member of the board and her expertise and knowledge of the profession was invaluable to the board as well as the administrative staff. After her term on the board expired, she became a consultant for the board and spent numerous hours reviewing licensure files in the administrative office. She will be greatly missed both personally and professionally. The social work field has benefited greatly by having Vicki as a licensee and mentor to many. Rest in peace dear lady.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Vicki Williams. Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, fo Jehovah himself has spoken it. Like a father who removes the cause of his children's suffering and dries their eyes Jehovah takes great joy in bringing death to nothing. Jehovah assures his people that sin and death will be swallowed up and removed from all the earth. This prophetic promise will happen on a paradise earth.
