Obituary of Irene B. Dunkley

Age 80, a loving mother of six and grandmother, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal glory Friday, May 24, 2019. She was preceded by children, Gerald L. Smith and Christine L. Smith. Survived by children, Sheila Smith-Lowery, Reverend Henry K. Smith III (Trevonda), Eric D. Smith, and Carole D. Tyus (Reverend Dr. James E.); brother, Jim Avery Brown; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchild; numerous other relatives and friends.  Public viewing Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 from 2-6pm at Lewis & Wright.  Visitation Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at First Baptist Church, South Inglewood, 1515 Ann St. from 11:00 am-12:00 noon with funeral to follow with Rev. Henry K. Smith III, Officiant and Rev. Henry K. Smith Jr., Eulogist. Interment Greenwood West Cemetery.
