Age 67, of Nashville, TN, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Thursday, August 29, 2019. Faith leaves to cherish her memory, devoted husband of 29 years, Leslie Whitfield; daughter, LaKeisha (Dedrick) Hayes; son, Raymond (Stephanie ) Hayes; stepchildren,  Areatha Richard and Roderick Whitfield; granddaughters, Keisha Clark (Don), Rayona (Donovan) Campbell and JaRaye Hayes; grandsons, Raymond Hayes Jr, Rayricus Matthews, Raymond Summers and Jacolby Summers; great grandchildren, Kameron, Mercy, Phoenix , Hendrix and Kairo; mother, Johnnie M. Cartmell; sister, Josalyn B. Smith, Debra West and Stephanie (Curtis) Maxwell; brother, Kenneth Cartmell; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Madelyn (Charles) Auglin, O’Fallon, MO; brother-in-law, Thomas P. Whitfield, Decatur, IL; and other loving members and friends.
