Obituary of Harold Martin, Jr.

Harold Martin, Jr. Goodlettsville – Harold Martin, Jr. was born on September 25, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Eddie C. and Harold Martin, Sr. He found peace in the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2020. He was a member of Key-Stewart United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Cameron High School in the class of 1971 and Middle Tennessee State University. Harold was a charter member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Mu Zeta Chapter and a lifetime member of Omega. He leaves to cherish his precious memory, a loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Wanda Faye Martin; and affectionate daughter, Brecia D. Martin of Goodlettsville, TN, daughter, Dr. Courtney Martin (James Dickerson, III) of NY; son, Harold Martin, III (Lacey) of Canton, OH; brother Robert "Ricky" Taylor (Kelly Ann); a host of other relatives and friends. A Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 4-6 p.m. Lewis & Wright Funeral Home. Family Visitation Saturday, February 8th from 11:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m. at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church, 2334 Herman Street. The Omega Omega Service will begin at 12:15 p.m. with funeral to follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Sean V. Cook, officiating. Interment Hills of Calvary Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial gifts in the name of Harold "Huss" Martin, Jr. to the Miles Ridley Perseverance Scholarship, The Mighty Mu Zeta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
