Ladye Frances Armstrong-Butler was born on October 19, 1943 to Willie Evans Armstrong and Minnie Pointer in Mt. Pleasant, TN. She transitioned peacefully from this earthly home to eternal rewards on June 28, 2020 at Opal Living Assistance in Hermitage, Tn.
She dedicated her life as a devoted Christian, loving mother (grand and great-grand), joyful & comforting family mentor, and dear friend.
Ladye’s memories will be cherished by her loving children, Glenda Harris, Melvin (Glenda) Gordon, Delwin (Ariny) Gordon; grandchildren, Shatika (Jamie) Derrick, Santia (Quita) Harvell, Reshad (Shay) Harris, Lakysha Keeley, Mel’Nesha Gordon, DeAri Gordon, Camdon Gordon; great-grandchildren, Malachi Harris, Makari Harris, Iyana Harris, Jaime Derrick, Mylia Keeley, Aaron Keeley, Daryus Keeley, Skylar Harvell; sisters, Lillie Armstrong, Christine (James) Mitchell; brothers, Willie Armstrong, Lewis Armstrong; and a host of nieces nephews and friends; special family friend, Mrs. Earline Jordan.
