Obituary of Dahlia B. Parker

Dahlia Batson Parker was born to the late Repps Batson and Lena Carney Batson on February 4th 1927 in Clarksville Tennessee. She was the youngest of four daughters. Three sisters have preceded her in death, Errnestine Denkins, Permatis Jones and Folia Harris. She transitioned into Glory Tuesday July 28, 2020. Her late husband of 63 years Leslie Mitchell Parker preceded her in death October 14th 2010. She leaves to cherish her precious memory only daughter Patricia Douglas (Mark Douglas) two grandsons Joshua (Taneesha), Charles, granddaughter Marketta, great-granddaughters Jada Duckett, Laurin Douglas one great-grandson Kai Douglas. Mrs. Parker was a genuine Born Again Believer who loved the Lord with ALL her heart, mind, soul and strength. She enjoyed taking time to stop and minister to people about the Lord every opportunity she had. She also had a very large heart and would help anyone who said they needed a helping hand. Some of her hobbies were sewing, planting flower and vegetable gardens, watching old comedy movies. To us you have been Mom, grandma, and great-grandma, we know with great confidence where you are now and that you are rejoicing forever more. You fought a good fight and you kept the faith you were an example to us and we love you dearly!
