Portia Johnson was born on June 2, 1945 in Nashville to the late Willard Johnson and Alice “Baby Ray” Mooney. She was the second out of three girls born. Her sisters, Ruth Jackie Standard and Jewell Williams preceded her in death.
Portia was a beautiful, unique soul. She had a spirit of a goddess, and she portrayed that in everything she did. She always had positive words for her friends and family. She was an inspiration to anyone that came across her. To know her was to love her.
Portia was faithful to her family and friends until illness affected her abilities. She made her peaceful transition from this life on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
