Obituary of Andre Perry

Andre Damont Perry our most beloved son, brother, family member and friend was born January 15, 1975 to Carolyn Johnson-Simmons and Donald Perry, he went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2020. Those who knew Andre, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Andre was educated in the Davidson County School System and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1993. Andre moved to Atlanta, GA where he accepted a position with Sony Music. Andre returned to Nashville where he began his career in the IT Field. Andre thrived when he was working on computers and helping people solve computer issues. He was an enthusiastic gamer and loved being a jokester. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. Either you liked Andre, or you did not, there was no in between. Andre will be immensely missed by his Mother, Carolyn (Terry) Simmons, Sisters, Alicia (Akeem) Booze, Swatara Lewis, Uncle , Robert (Erma) Johnson, Cousins, Eric (Shannon) Covington, Xavier (Hilary), Danzel, Joshua Johnson, Trey (Christie) Perry, Longtime Friends, Tavis Kimble, Elena Fielstein, and numerous other family and friends. We know Andre is now with his Grandmothers, Bettie Hunt and Delores Perry and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven. Please keep the Simmons and Perry families in your thoughts and prayers. A Public Walk Through will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Main Cemetery Mausoleum, located next to the cemetery office.
