It saddens my heart to know that Dr. May is no longer with us. She has always held a special place in my heart. I return to my hometown in 1997, but I still kept in contact with each other.
I met her when I became employed with Special Education for the state of Tennessee. I've always admired her for her fashion in clothes, shoes, make up. She was the most well dressed lady of her age at that time. As well as being a smart business woman. She loved those two grandsons (Sean & Tyler) to no end and was very proud of them.
What a wonderful soul that the world has lost. She made her mark on this earth in so many areas, and especially, in education! Love you always Dr. May Alice Ridley! Sophia
