Mother Margaret Elizabeth White started her journey to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She closed her eyes and peacefully went home to be with the Lord.
Mother White leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by her devoted children, daughter, Vanessa E. White; sons, Rev. Alvin (Donza) White, Calvin (Alberta) White and John Tyrone (Dorothy) White; grandchildren, Pamela Jean Flakes, Denise (Demond) Myers, William (LaQuiesha) Wright, devoted granddaughters, Tiffany White, and LaToya (Tony) Ricketts; great-grandchildren, LaQuanya Gross, LaKeisha Wright, Clarence Wright, devoted great grandchildren Nia Ricketts, Mya Ricketts and Arianna Ricketts; sister-in-law, Mildred (Lonnie) Tyler; devoted niece, Emma J. Birdsong; “step-child” Louella Bass and numerous great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, church members and friends.
Public Walk Through of Friends will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lewis and Wright Funeral Directors.
Homegoing Celebration honoring the life of Mother Margaret White will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Love United Missionary Baptist Church, with family visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
