Emanuel Gift passed away at VA Vanderbilt Hospital October 26, 2021 in Nashville, TN. He was 63.
Emanuel was born on July 20, 1958 in Springfield, TN to his parents, J.D. and Leora Gift. He graduated from Branford High School in Springfield, TN. Emanuel served in the United States Army.
Emanuel professed his life to Christ at a young age. He currently attended Word of Life Christian Center International.
Emanuel is survived by his wife Antwashea Evans, Son Isiah Emanuel Gift. Brothers Robert (Elaine) Gift, Danny Gift. Daughter’s Wanda Jefferson (Kenneth) and Pamela Burton. Grand Children Shaquaundra (Montrell) Adams, Brian (Yadira)Burton, Kaylar Burton, Eric Timmons, Demetria Gaines, Marquez Timmons, Octavious Henry, 7 great grandchildren all of Nashville, TN. Host of nieces, nephews and devoted friend Ms. Gloria Burton-Sawyers and God Mother Benny Dobbins. He is preceded in death by his brother’s Clinton Gift, Jerry (JW) Gift, J.D. (Junior) Gift, Edward Lee Gift, sister Lena Hastings, Betty Carol Gift, nephew James Edward Gift, and daughter Cassandra Burton.
