Katie Catherine (Lytle) Harlan was born on March 2, 1937 to Walter And Birdie Mae Lytle In Nashville, Tennessee. She accepted Christ as her savior at a young age at Saint Johns and later United with Greater Grace Temple Community Church. Received her education through the Nashville Public School System. Katie was preceded in death by her husband Charles Harlan; mother, Birdie Mae Lytle; brothers, Thomas and Ronnie Lytle, George Baru and sister, Barbara Howse. She was married to Charles Harlan for 36 years and devoted mother to Pamela (Ernest)Moore, Rhonda Lytle, Betty Jean Shields, Dwight(Deborah) Harlan and Brenda(Curtis) McDavid. Katie will forever be remembered by her devoted brothers, Robert Lytle and Freddie (Edna)Lytle and devoted brother-in-law, William Howse Sr. Katie loved her 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Loving nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Katie retired from Vanderbilt Hospital after 43 years of service. She loved being around people.
