Sincere condolences to the entire Bright Family. My earliest remembrance Of Eleanor dates back to 1942 when her father, Mr. Aleck Bright Sr. along with his son and some of the Easley boys/men in his big truck moved our family from the Forest Home Community to the Dobson farm on Hillsboro Road. I was all of six years old. From then on, we always attended school together; first at Beechville, then Franklin Training School and finally Tennessee State University. Eleanor was always a very polite, polished, humorous and of course academically gifted individual being high school valedictorian. We also attended many social activities together at Greater Pleasant View, particularly, the Benevolent Order 151 Annual third Saturday in August Picnic. What pleasant memories!!! Eleanor went on to enjoy a long and productive career in public education along with her devoted sister, Mary Walker. Together, for many years, the two of them could always be found working like Trojans at the TSU Homecoming Game fish fry.
Your earthly task is finished now Eleanor and you have earned your heavenly wings. Now fly away and rest in eternal peace among God's Heavenly Angels.
