Obituary of Patricia Yvette Upton

Patricia Yvette Upton was born March 19, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Rena Mae Whitelow Upton and James W. Upton, Sr. Her mother precedes her in death. Patricia moved into Eternity, Friday, March 25, 2022. Patricia was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. She loved her niece, nephews and her dog “Lady”. Being a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, she “bled” orange. UT-Knoxville was her heart. She had an infectious smile and never met a stranger. She received her early education from St. Vincent dePaul Catholic School and graduated from Father Ryan High School class of 1981. She continued her education and graduated from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville class of 1985. She worked for the Metropolitan Government before she began working for the State of TN Disability Determination Services (DDS). She leaves to cherish her memories: loving father James W. Upton, Sr.; her sisters Regina (Mark) Hadley and Marion (David Parks) Upton; brother James W. Upton, Jr; niece Kellye Hadley; nephews Kylan Hadley, Jocquise Upton, James Robert (JR) Upton and Jeremy Upton; great niece Journee Upton; uncles; Luther Beene Whitelow and Eulas Whitelow; devoted friends Ricky and Sheril Hughes and a host of many other relatives and friends.
