Obituary of Lynn Paula Talley

Lynn passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Lynn is survived by her sisters, Audrey Talley, Marquinta Hunt and Marguerite (Howard) Finley, her brothers Lucius (Katherine) Talley and Larry Talley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucius and Marguerite Talley, and her brother Anthony Talley.

Lynn is survived by her nieces and nephews, including Jamila Talley, Larry (Katie) Talley, Jr., Latasha (Martez) Coleman, Latrisha (Thomas) Staples, Alisha (Scotty) Givens, Melanie Talley, and Candice Finley.

Lynn spent most of her career as an attorney with the Social Security Administration in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is a proud graduate of Pearl High School, Fisk University, and the University of Tennessee Law School at Knoxville. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, travel, and volunteer in her community.

She will be remembered for her activities in Knoxville, including the YWCA of Knoxville and her Cancer Support group. A viewing will be held Friday, July 8^th from 4:00 to 6:00pm and Saturday, July 9^th from 10:00 to 11:00am. Services will be at 11:00am at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors.
