Obituary of Bobbie J. Reed

On the early morning of June 30, 2022, our Dear Heavenly Father called Ms. Bobbie Jean Reed to come home. Bobbie J. Reed was born November 2, 1943, to Mattie Lee Booker and Horace Reed Sr in Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents; Mattie L. Booker and Horace Reed Sr; son Reginald Allen (Baldy) Reed; sisters, Roberta (Bert) Otis, Aline (Lean) Newsome, Mary Ann Murphy, and Clarice Young; brothers, John W. (Humpty) Reed Sr., and Horace D. Reed Jr.; and great granddaughter Brae’Lynn Leigh Ann Cloyd.

Bobbie was a God Fearing woman who accepted Christ on March 10, 1990, at Saint Paul Primitive Baptist Church under Elder Buford Taylor. For those of you who truly knew Bobbie, would know that she was a loving, caring, devoted mother and grandmother. She was very strong willed and refused to let anything or anyone stand in her way. If you ever needed anything, she would always do her best to give what she had and if she didn’t have it, she would find a way to get it even if it meant putting herself last. She was loved by so many people during her 78 years on this earth and will truly be missed by so many more.

Those left to embrace her sweet precious memories is her son, Darrell E."Tee" Reed, daughter-in-law, Pamela G. Reed, granddaughter, April T. Reed, grandson, Verice Marquice Cloyd Sr., great grandson, Verice Marquice Cloyd Jr., devoted nephews, John W. Reed Jr. "June Bug", Dana Reed, Donnie Reed, and Michael Young; her devoted niece, Marva Ann Williams; nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
