Obituary of Shirley D. Parker

Shirley Darlene Nelson Parker was born on August 22, 1962 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Willie Ed Nelson and Dorothy Ann Akins Nelson. She transitioned from this life to eternal rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. 

Shirley leaves to forever cherish her memory husband, Dewayne A. Parker; children LaKesha Talley, Paul Talley (Tiffany), Frederick Talley, Henry Talley, Jennifer Talley, Christopher Talley, Darryl Talley, Marcus Talley, Sabrina Parker and Sara Parker; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother Dorothy Nelson; sisters Judith Watkins, Clarabel Akins, Dorothy Dalton, Melinda Nelson and Kathryn Bass; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, church family and devoted life-long friend Earlene Covington.
