Obituary of Alan P. Kirkwood
Mr. Alan Kirwood transitioned from this life on Friday, December 16, 2022. Alan will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Kathlyn Kirkwood, Ph.D, son, Bryan Kirkwood (Raleigh, NC); daughter, Philinese Kirkwood (Los Angeles, CA); bonus children Dr. Tanya Malone (Philadelphia, PA); Erik Malone (Colorado Spring, CO); Anaxet Jones (Lebanon, TN); and Juliette Jones (Los Angeles, CA); granddaughter, Kimora Kirkwood (Raleigh, NC); sole surviving sister, Barbara Richardson (Denver, CO); and best friends Joseph Nelson (Memphis, TN), Henry Ford (Memphis, TN), and Linda Brown Williams (Memphis, TN). Alan also leaves behind nephews, cousins, and associates and friends.
In honor of Mr. Alan Kirkwood, the family is encouraging all attendees to wear shades of orange for the Celebration of Life Service.
