Dooley was my friend. We grew up playing together with my brothers and a few other neighborhood kids in our backyard. I was a year older, but I was a bit of a tomboy. I would play basketball, baseball, and even tried to join in on a game of football. Once, I had caught a lobbed pass and took off running across the yard towards an imaginary end zone. I imagine Dooley didn’t care that I was a girl, because all I recall was being knocked to the winds by Dooley! The ball went flying and I went rolling towards the creek! We often joked about that day. From military schooling to raising a son to enjoying a Honey-baked ham sandwich, we shared many similar experiences at times and maintained our friendship over the years. I was glad when he overcame his health challenges in the past. My pastor and our family prayed for him! I was certainly shaken by the news of his passing, but I serve a sovereign God and pray that Dooley is now present with the Lord. I will treasure our countless conversations over the years, and lift his family in prayer for comfort, peace, and the hope that we will all see him again in heaven.

Our pastor, having known Mr. Dooley Bradley since he was a child, referred him to the church where he provided lawn care services reliably for many many years. For a while, maybe the past few years or so, we grew accustomed to seeing him riding a red mower. If you caught his attention, he’d stop long enough to greet you. If you got the opportunity to speak with him for any length of time, he would typically drop a nugget of wisdom. He was always very pleasant and courteous, and he set the bar high by regularly going above and beyond to meet our lawn care needs. We are deeply saddened by his passing, yet we remain grateful to have known him. We pray God’s comfort and peace for everyone, especially his family and closest friends.

I met Dooley in 9th grad where we became great friends and roomates who basically grew up together till we graduated, Played football, baseball, and wrestling team along with business deals in school he was always about working hard and making money. I got to know him and his aspirations in life, he loved people and had the best personality that anyone I have ever met, he could talk you into just about anything he believed would be helpfull to people and also make some money doing it, He used to talk about the trash co. He would start that would help people outside Nashville and country that didnt get service and had to dispose of it themselves, he had other great ideas that he seemed to have accomplished in his short time, I didnt find out till 30 years later that he had started that waste Co. When we met up but I always new he would because he always did what he said he was going to do! Dooley you accomplished the goals we talked about and many more! I will miss our talks lately because I know you had more to do! Thank you for touching my life and being my brother!

Q: How did you meet Dooley?
A: Dooley Bradley is a life long friend, best man and business partner of mine. I love him and will miss him. I grew up with him. I am now living in China but he is not far away.
1. We met in 4th grade at Jordonia Elementary. We both lived in Enchanted Hills.
2. I was with him during his summers off from Castle Heights Military Academy. It was then he nearly blew blew off his right index finger showing me his marching drills. I have a scar on my right arm from him convincing me to reach under a gated fence to collect glass bottles from the local grocery store and sell them back to them for the deposit. I pulled out when the owner Mr. Charley unexpectedly came out the back door. I turned to Dooley for help to get my arm out and all I saw was his back running away at top speed! We treated our wounds ourselves to avoid trouble.
3. We started a lawn care business at the age of 13. After blowing our money on Opryland amusement park the first year, we got smart and I purchased my first car before I had a license with our second year earnings. We made a lot of money as teenagers. He was a true business man.
4. He was my best man in my wedding in 1992. He travelled to Greenville SC and threw me a bachelor party that I will not forgot. Matthew Walker III was also a groomsman. I lost him also.
5. Dooley and I started a business together called ADK Waste Management. He called me in China to pitch it to my investment company KAMMM Holdings LLC. He knew the market, the trends, etc. Great pitch! I seeded him the money for the truck, compactor, etc. and he was general manager and co-owner. ADK stood for ADRIENNE DOOLEY KEVIN. Adrienne is my wife. It was a learning experience. I got my investment back and gained a lot of street knowledge from Dooley. He was a great GM. He could squeeze a dollar out of a dime, but I warned him about his poor work life balance as many of us had at the time. .
I spent more time with Dooley than I can remember but many do not know it because of my time in China. I knew his mom, Deloris (sister), Della (sister), David (brother) and Dr Bradley. (Father) who told me, in elementary school, I should get out and start earning some money and stop wasting time shooting pool with Dooley :). Only Deloris who was friends with my sister Sharon is standing now. I love them all.
I love Dooley. He had a big heart. He was a life long friend. My condolences to the family.
