Obituary of Karl Hall

Mr. Karl Reginald Hall was born on October 20, 1963, in Washington, D.C. to the union of Wesley Hall and Irene Webb Hall.

He departed this life on January 8, 2023, in Nashville, TN. He was educated in Washington, D.C. and Davidson County Public Schools. He attended Tennessee State University in the early 1980s where he met his devoted wife, Janie Hall. After leaving Tennessee State University, he joined the United States Army Reserve for 8 years. Karl left The Reserve with an “Honorable Discharge”.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Irene Webb Hall. He leaves to cherish his memories, devoted wife of 37 years, Janie Hall; devoted daughters, Waukeshia and Jalissa Hall; granddaughter, Martasia Reed; godsons, Trequan and Kolibri Horton; god daughters, Janaye Carney and E-Myia Horton; devoted mother-in-law, Vunny Horton; devoted sister-in-law, Virginia Horton; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Troy) Gulley and Bernice Horton; brothers-in-law, Bobby (Pat) Horton, William (Karen) Horton, Garnell (Gail) Horton, Clyde (Armelda) Cain, and Jimmy (Sandra) Horton, Jr; devoted cousins, Beverly Robinson, Nancy Stewart, Jackie Kinzer and Katherine Webb Buford; aunt Pearlie Webb; a numerous host of cousins and friends.
