Obituary of Gene C. Holt

Gene Christy “Chris” Holt was born, December 25, 1959 in Davidson County, Tennessee to the late Mahlon Morris & Erma Louise Holt.  Chris entered into eternal rest on, January 30, 2023.

Christ affectionally known by family and friends received his education in Davidson County School system.  Chris was just a very warm and giving person.  It wasn’t nothing he wouldn’t do for family and friends.

Chris was preceded in death by grandparents; James & Sallie Nelson and Charles & Irma Holt; uncles, James & Willie Nelson; Sisters, Marcia, Elizabeth “Bit” and Katherine “Kathy” Holt; Nephews, Michael, Sedric & Eric Holt; nieces, Sharon Blanch, Michelle Lewis and Kelonda Holt; cousin, Bobby Grigsby and Brother-n-law Jerome Owens.

Christ leaves to cherish his memories sisters; Etta (David) Tucker, Powder Springs, Ga., Peggy Owens, Regina (Ronald) Lewis, Stephanie & Mary Holt, Nashville, TN, and brother; Charles (Lorraine) Holt; aunts, Anna & Marie Nelson; very, very devoted aunts Ruby & Elizabeth “Aunt Sweet” Nelson; great uncle Kenneth (Maxine) Gilbert, Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; a devoted cousin, Melvin Holt;friends, very devoted neighbors Carol Robertson & Elaine Pittman and other residents at Chippen Towers 1.
