Annie Jane Huff Washington, 89, passed away on Friday morning, March 10, 2023, at Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. She was born in Nashville on November 16, 1933, the daughter of Andrew and Mattie Huff. She was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, and by her son, Donald Winfrey.

She is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, Jesse Washington; a son, Terry Winfrey; a stepdaughter, Tracey Pledger; one grandson, Donald; five step-granddaughters, Whitney, Taylor, Jessica, Janai, and Gabrielle; her brother, David Huff; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, at Lewis & Wright Funeral Directors, 2500 Clarksville Highway, Nashville. The funeral service will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3501 Central Avenue, Nashville, at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
