Obituary of Kendra Mitchell

Kendra Monique Mitchell was born on May 13, 1985 to Linda Stewart and Roy Curry. Kendra was born, raised, and matured in Memphis, Tn where she professed her love for Christ at an early age at Chelsea Ave Church of Christ. She attended Corning Elementary School, Snowden Middle School, and graduated from East High School in 2003. In high school Kendra was amember of the track team and band, excelling at playing the clarinet. She furthered her education at Tennessee State University graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice. 

Kendra began her career with the Transportation Security Administration in 2008, where she served as a Transportation Security Officer. During her tenure, Kendra served diligently in her role which led to her being promoted to Program Analyst forTSA Headquarters. In 2008, she also met the love of her life LeRonce Mitchell who she married in 2010. From this union two beautiful children, Christian and Kennedy were born. Even with her professional accolades, Kendra took the most pride in being a wife and mother.

​Kendra is proceeded in death by Joel Anchrum III (son), Louvenia Hampton (grandmother), and Roy Curry (Father). She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving husband LeRonce Mitchell; two children: Christian and Kennedy Mitchell; Mother: Linda Stewart; Siblings: Markell Brown, Marcus Faulkner, Vasco Curry (Vaquel), Rodney Curry, Shaunta Woods (Christopher), Marcus Curry, Marcus Hillard (Cenora); two nieces Ashia Wicks and Markayla Brown; Goddaughter: Jaliyah Cotton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
