Curtis Leroy "Leebe" Brown was born August 11, 1957. Curtis was the sixth child of Lewis and Frances Brown. He departed this life on November 19, 2023.

Curtis attended Hillsboro High School and was later employed at Roesch Patton funeral home where he drove the flower delivery truck. Upon leaving there, he was employed by Polar Cold Storage as a dock foreman for over 20 plus years. He was a devoted employee there, especially during the months before Thanksgiving throughout what they would call (Turkey Season).  Curtis would work days without seeing his family. He would load 18-wheeler trailers full of turkeys all day and all night to ensure families in Tennessee and surrounding areas would have turkeys to purchase for the holiday. He also worked at Hampton Inn Hotel in Green Hills as a maintenance man for 13 years until his health declined.

Those who knew Curtis well, knew that he loved telling jokes and his favorite music group was Earth Wind and Fire. He would always tune in to watch WWF and WCW; He loved him some professional wrestling. Curtis was formerly married to Shelia Wadley Shepherd and from this union two sons were born. He was preceded in death by parents, Lewis and Frances Brown; brothers, Joseph William, Lewis Jr.(Spunky), Felix Brown and Anthony Brown;  and sister Vickie Brown- Byles.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory children Curtis (Coreca) Brown and Corey (Appolonia) Brown, also six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Curtis leaves devoted siblings, Larry (Janice) Brown, Pat Battle Young, Micheal (Stephanie) Brown, Bernice Brown-Wills, Carl (Dianne) Brown, Kevin (Dana) Brown and adopted sister Jimmie Battle; and numerous devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, one uncle and many other dedicated friends.
