Obituary of Ronald D. McCallum, Jr.
Ronald Donelle McCallum, Jr. was born to Ronald McCallum and the late Pamela McCallum in Lumberton, NC on December 28th of 1993. His family members remember him as a curious and busy child, with a love for music and playing with friends. In 2007 Ronald moved to Nashville, TN with his parents where he attended school in Metro Davidson County. He dabbled in sports, BMX biking, and breeding dogs. As he got older, Ronald found a love for cooking often gloating in the dishes and creations he came up with. Ronald had a passion for spending time with his father, tinkering on vehicles and riding motorcycles.
2015, Life choices separated Ronald from his academics and family. June 17th of 2019 Ronald married his sweetheart Kelsie Nicole, in that same year he secured his GED. Through reading, Ronald educated himself on numerous topics and studies. Ronald had a strong love for family, his closest relationship with his namesake, his father. He had dreams of earning his CDL and becoming a truck driver.
Ronald died January 26th, 2024, at the age of 30 in Hartsville, TN. He is remembered as loving son, husband, brother, and uncle. Ronald is survived by his wife Kelsie Nicole McCallum; his father Ronald; his sisters Yvette, Yolanda, Tiphanie, and Brytanie; along with his nieces and nephews. His voice etched in our hearts, Ronald is gone but not forgotten, his memory will live forever through his loved ones. Ronald is not alone; he is held in good company with his Mother and family members that preceded him in death. Remember this is not goodbye, but until we meet again.
