Obituary of Michelle Evon Scott

Please share a memory of Michelle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ms. Michelle Evon Scott age 29 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Friday, January 24, 2020. She is survived by mother, Ruby Santiago; father, Charles F. Wilson; other family members and friends to cherish her memories. Please keep the family of Ms. Michelle Evon Scott in your thoughts and prayers. Many of you knew Michelle through personal relationships or brief encounters. What many saw was a bright, beautiful and intelligent woman. What most did not know was that she suffered greatly from depression and mental health illness. We found out recently that she dealt heavily with bullying while attending a prestigious university pursuing her PhD in Biomolecular Science. Michelle was determined to find a cure for cancer. The bullying she experienced left her suffering in silence which affected her in a very great way. She served our country as a member of the US Armed forces and retired honorably for her service. Our sister has passed due to suicide. This is the most heartbreaking moment our family has had to face, and we are doing our best to deal with this tragedy day by day. With gratitude, THE WILSONS
